What's up Doc????
Hello Beach Walkers.
Weather tells me "A thick cloud cover and mild". Should I bring my sunglasses? I hope to see you tomorrow at the GumBoot. There will be good food and drink. And maybe some stimulating conversation.

Good afternoon, Beach Walkers. I hope you are doing well. It has been a mixed bag as far as weather goes. I have some pictures for you today. I will post them first. I will start with some ducks. I took their image this morning on my walk around Gibsons. They were at the settling pond in the new development close to where Jeanne lives. I wonder if her furnace is working?
What would the Beach Walker invitation be without an eagle. Usually there are two in the tree. But last week there was only one. They look the same because I think it is the same two eagles that use that tree for their look out.
While walking around Gibsons last week there was a squirrel that ran in front of me. He or she climbed a tree and had a snack. So I took a snap!
And one more picture from the internet. Back in 1628 the Swedes built their own Titanic. This was to be the most impressive and biggest war ship they ever built. Something to impress the neighbors. If you are interested you can follow this link to the YouTube video of the Vasa Museum and the story behind the Vasa. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Shh2ECOb-fo

Pretty impressive looking ship. If you go to look at the YouTube channel there are other videos of the curator of the museum walking around inside the Vasa. Nothing much has changed since the Swedes build this ship. Counties still build giant navies to prove their manhood. I think half the Russian Black Sea fleet has been damaged or is at the bottom of the Black Sea. This is done by a nation that has practically no navy. Just think the Titanic made it farther then the Vasa. The Vasa sank less then a mile into it maiden voyage. So do you want to buy a Volvo? But then Volvo is not owned by the Swedes anymore. It is now owned my Zhejiang Geely Holding Group. And that sounds a bit Chinese to me. But get used to it. Soon we will be importing many more Chinese cars. Mostly electric cars.
